Crash involving patrol car shuts down Daytona Beach intersection overnight

Crews shut down a busy Daytona Beach intersection early Tuesday morning following a crash involving a patrol car.The crash happened at International Speedway Boulevard and Clyde Morris Boulevard shortly after 2 a.m.The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed a patrol car was involved but has not said which agency the vehicle belonged to or whether anyone was injured.The intersection has since reopened to traffic.Channel 9 is working to gather more information and will provide updates on Eyewitness News.Click here to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
